How it works

From first conversation to applications, step by step

Good applications need preparation. Here is what happens at each stage, roughly when, and who is doing the work.

  1. Before you sign up Together

    Consultation

You tell us about your search with a short form, then we talk it through.

    • What you are looking for and what has happened so far
    • Whether we are the right fit, and which support would help most
  2. After your consultation Together

    Recommendation and agreement

We send the package we recommend, in writing, with its price, payment schedule and service agreement.

    • You review the terms and ask any questions
    • Work begins once you accept the agreement and your first payment is received
  3. Week 1 Your turn

    Welcome and intake

You receive a welcome email with a secure link to set up your client portal, then complete your intake.

    • Your details, search criteria and standard application answers
    • The permissions we need to apply for you
  4. Weeks 2 to 4 Your turn

    Experience Bank

You record your experience in the Experience Bank: roles, projects, skills and results.

    • Self-guided, with prompts that help you remember the detail
    • Hands-on help where your package includes it
  5. Weeks 5 to 6 We’re on it

    Resume development

We build your resume from your Experience Bank and intake.

    • Your draft arrives within 3 weeks of you completing your experience checklist
    • You review it in your portal and ask for changes
  6. Before launch Your turn

    Review and approval

Three sign-offs before any application goes out.

    • You approve your final resume
    • You confirm your search criteria
    • You set up the job-search inbox employers will reply to
  7. From about week 7 We’re on it

    Applications

Your specialist starts applying on a Monday and continues until your campaign’s applications are submitted.

    • Each application appears in your portal
    • Weekly updates on application activity
  8. Throughout your campaign Together

    Ongoing support

You keep us posted on interviews and offers, and we adjust the search as things change.

    • Reach us by email or text with questions
    • Pause if you need to, within the limits in your agreement

Common questions

When do applications start?

Applications always begin on a Monday. To start on a given Monday, your approved resume, completed intake and deposit must all be in by 11:59 PM Eastern Time on the Thursday before. Otherwise, applications begin the following Monday. For most clients this is around week 7.

How long does a campaign last?

A campaign is a set number of applications, shown in your order, and it is complete when they have all been submitted. As a guide, 250 applications usually take about 6 weeks and 400 about 2 months. We do not promise a number of days, because it depends on how many suitable roles are open.

Do you guarantee interviews or a job?

No. Employers make their own hiring decisions, and outcomes depend on the market, your background and many other factors. We commit to the work described in your agreement, and you can see that work in your portal.

Will you need access to my accounts?

We ask you to provide a job-search email inbox so employer replies reach you. Where possible we use delegated access rather than shared passwords, and you can revoke access at any time. Our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy explain how access is used.

Can I pause?

Yes. You can pause applications for up to 3 months in total. Scheduled payments continue during a pause. Our Service Delivery Policy explains what happens when timelines change.

How do I pay, and can I cancel?

A deposit is due before work begins. If you are on a payment plan, the remaining payments are due on Mondays, starting one week after applications go live. Cancellations and refunds are covered in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
